Clarissa Poulson, IPE Triple Line’s head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, chaired a session at American Evaluation Association Conference in Washington DC on applying ‘agile’ and ‘lean’ evaluative approaches to policy and programme design. She shared the dais with Caitlin Connors of consultancy 2CV and Kecia Bertermann of Girl Effect presenting on their experiences of taking an adaptive and user-focused approach to evaluation.
With over 4,200 participants and hundreds of concurrent sessions, ‘Evaluation 2017’ brought together very wide spectrum of sectoral expertise. With a theme of ‘Learning into Action’, the uniting focus was very much on how as evaluators we can support improved delivery and strengthen capacity for change.
