Clarissa has extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation. She is responsible for leading and developing Triple Line's monitoring, evaluation and learning portfolio. She leads our experts in monitoring, evaluation and learning, grant management, gender and social inclusion and policy research. She is a member of Triple Line’s Board. Clarissa has many years of experience in managing teams and projects to deliver high quality work which provides clients with the technical support they need. Her technical experience lies in designing and delivering monitoring, evaluation and learning assignments for international development, particularly for complex and multi-country programmes. Clarissa also has extensive experience in managing grant funding programmes, from fund design and grantee selection to performance and risk management across the portfolio. Her clients include bilateral donors (DFID, USAID), foundations (Standard Chartered, GSMA), NGOs (Global Witness, elhra) and research bodies (World Resource Institute). She received ‘Best Paper’ award at the 2019 UK Evaluation Society Conference for her work on evaluating innovation funds. Previously, Clarissa had a successful career in the UK civil service across senior posts in policy, strategy, public service delivery and reform, HR and Ministerial offices. She has an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and Africa Studies at the University of London, and a geography degree from the University of Cambridge.
