Diversification of living organisms in a given habitat at a particular point in time is biodiversity. This constitutes a huge section of the Earth mass with unique genetics and characteristics. The evolution of a human from early man into the rural urban system is being continuously studied. But still food, shelter, water, clothes remain the basic requirement for a decent living. It is interesting how each species, irrespective of its size, color, characteristics has an individual contribution in the scheme of survival. All these species are inter-dependent, yet oddly, strong and independent survivors. There is a constant concern over a healthier ecosystem and living of this variety of life on Earth of plants, animals, microorganisms, living beings. With the increase in human population and their consumption patterns, industries are moving into creating several products to satiate unlimited desires. Nowadays, we have complex products with complex disposal ways, sometimes, with no disposal mechanism as well. This puts a burden to the environment and the other living forms.
But a good rise in the awareness towards environment protection, waste management, organic farming is forming a beautiful way of sustainable existence. Off late, several content in different media platforms talk about sustainable products, that can be used for a longer period time and have alternative uses, such as a glass jar. A great move by the government was to ban plastic bags for grocery and vegetable shopping. This has urged at least a majority of the population to use cloth bags.
With complex situations catching the human race and the other species, we could get back to our roots of consuming good in its raw/ original form, as provided by nature.
Happy growing nature, happy us!!
